Anna is an international set and costume designer for Theatre, Opera and Events.
Born and raised in Italy, she graduated in Interior Design at Politecnico di Milano before completing a Masters in Theatre Studies in Venice. She won a university grant to be spent abroad where she met award-winning designer Paul Brown, under whose guidance she undertook a training across various opera theatres in Europe.
Anna has since collaborated on a number of international productions in the major opera theatres of the world such us Teatro La Scala, Royal Opera House London, Opera di Roma, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Lithuanian Opera Theatre, Teatro Regio di Parma and Zurich Opernhaus.
She is the recipient of the first prize Fondazione Teatro Donizetti for the Donizetti Night 2019 with “Don Gaetano - a speed date with” a site specific immersive performance written and directed by Davide Marranchelli.
Her recent credits as a set and costume designer include: world premiere of Le Nozze in Villa at Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo, Don Giovanni at Opera di Roma, directed by Graham Vick, Dialogues des Carmelites at RNCM Manchester directed by Orpha Phelan and revival design for Idomeneo directed by Graham Vick at Lithuanian Opera Theatre.
She has worked as a Production Designer for Ora Singers in London - a choir ensemble committed to producing the best of choral music conducted by OBE Suzi Digby and supported by Stephen Fry. She designed the launch concert at the Cutty Sark Museum in 2017, the Christmas concerts at the Royal Hospital in Chelsea and St. Mary-le-Bow Church in Cheapside as well as the 'Renaissance' tour in 2018.
